Chapman Named to CSC Academic All-America Third Team

Senior Brandon Chapman becomes the first men’s or women’s swimmer to earn Academic All-America honors since 2005-06

DENVER -  University of Denver men's swimming and diving senior Brandon Chapman has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team, the association announced on Wednesday.
 
Chapman is the first member of either the men's or women's program to earn the honor since Brian Flaherty earned second team honors in 2005-06.
 
The Port Elizabeth, South Africa native was the 2025 Summit League Men's Swimming Championship MVP, and earned All-Summit League honors in five events. Chapman is a three-time Summit League All-Academic Team selection and earned his first CSC Academic All-District honors this season.
 
This season, Chapman became the seventh-fastest swimmer in program history in the 50 free, clocking in at 19.92.
 
Chapman becomes the 65 CSC/CoSIDA Academic All-America selection in the athletic department's history.
