SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State sophomore Lily Vincelli and South Dakota State senior Tyler Seeling garnered the first Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades, League officials announced Thursday. Both golfers earned the first weekly awards of their respective careers as Vincelli captured the female honor and Seeling claimed the male honor.
Vincelli opened the 2025-2026 women’s golf campaign in a triumphant fashion, shooting a 143 (-1) over 36 holes to win the NDSU Invitational and lead the Bison to their fourth consecutive team title in the tournament. In the first round, the Rosemount, Minn., native fired a career-low 68 (-4) to lead the field of 25 by one stroke. She closed day two of the tournament with a 75 (+3) to secure the first-place trophy, winning the invitational by two strokes.
Vincelli logged one eagle and six birdies across the two-day event and bested her previous career-low by 22 strokes.
Seeling entered the clubhouse following the first round of play at the Island Resort Intercollegiate with a score of 73 (+1) but would soon join only a group of 20 other Division I golfers by turning in one of the best rounds in collegiate history. The Breezy Point, Minn., native matched an NCAA single-round record with a 60 (-12) in his second lap that featured three eagles and seven birdies.
