SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The final week of the regular season is underway, with the last slate of 2026 games tipping off tonight.
After last Saturday’s win, North Dakota State secured at least a share of the 2026 regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the Summit League Tournament. The Bison can claim the crown outright with a home victory tonight against South Dakota State, currently second in the standings, followed by an in-state showdown with North Dakota Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
The remaining tournament seedings are still up for grabs, with crucial games slated for the coming week. South Dakota State and South Dakota remain in contention for the No. 2 seed and will face off in the regular-season finale on Saturday in Brookings, tipping off at 6 p.m. CT.
This week’s action begins tonight as Omaha hosts Oral Roberts, tipping off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

AROUND THE LEAGUE
• North Dakota State extended its win streak to 23 games with an 81-68 win over South Dakota on Saturday in Vermillion, clinching at least a share of the Summit League regular season title for the first time in program history.
• The 23-game winning streak is NDSU’s longest since the 2004-05 season, when the Bison won 24 straight at the Division II level, and currently ranks as the second-longest active streak in the nation behind UConn (45).
• Junior forward Avery Koenen was dominant against the Coyotes, tying a career-best with 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting and adding 14 rebounds to record her 18th double-double of the season, tied for third nationally.
• With the win, NDSU earned the No. 1 seed in the Summit League Tournament for the first time in program history.
• In South Dakota State’s 95-93 win at Oral Roberts last week, Preseason Player of the Year Brooklyn Meyer set a new program record with 44 points, the most by a Summit League player this season and tied for the third-highest total in Division I.
• With the win over Denver, SDSU head coach Aaron Johnston earned his 650
th career win.
• Last week, Koenen and Meyer were named amongst the 10 semifinalists for the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year award.
• On Friday, Feb. 6, Meyer was named a top-10 candidate for the Lisa Leslie National Center of the Year award by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
• South Dakota’s loss to the Bison snapped a six game win-streak.
• Angelina Robles scored 22 points to notch her 11th 20-point performance of the season, while Molly Joyce poured in 24 for her fifth 20-point game.
• Oral Roberts rebounded from a close loss to SDSU to earn a 70-68 road win over Kansas City.
• Against the Jackrabbits, all five ORU starters reached double-figures in scoring.
• Redshirt junior Ari Gordon led ORU in the win over KC, posting a career-high 20 points with six boards.
• St. Thomas split the week, falling at North Dakota State before closing out with a 70-58 road win against North Dakota.
• Senior Faith Feuerbach scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting for the Tommies, while teammate Mikayla Werner added a career-high 17 points in the victory.
• The win moved the Tommies to 7-7 in league play, tied with Oral Roberts for fourth in the standings.
• Denver got back on track with a 79-63 road win over Kansas City at the Swinney Center, snapping its six-game losing streak.
• In the win, DU guard Coryn Watts led all scorers with 25 points, while teammate Laila McLeod added a career-high 16 points, including four three-pointers.
• Kansas City’s losing streak extended to six following road losses to Denver and Oral Roberts this past week.
• Tierra Trotter led the Roos in the close loss to ORU, scoring 20 points, including 11 of Kansas City’s 17 in the fourth quarter.
• North Dakota dropped both home games last week to NDSU and UST but will have a chance to pick up a win in their final home game of the season against South Dakota on Wednesday night.
• Graduate student Mackenzie Hughes was the only Fighting Hawk to reach double figures against St. Thomas, scoring 19 points in the loss.
• Following an 0-2 road trip, Omaha wraps up regular season in Baxter Arena against ORU and DU.
• In the close loss at South Dakota, graduate Sarai Estupinan scored 24 points, marking her second 24-point outing in the last three games.
