SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Thomas sophomore Tyler McNeive was deemed the latest Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week, League officials announced Thursday. McNeive secured the weekly honor for the first time in his career and is the first Tommie this season to hold the honor.

McNeive led the Tommies at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational with a 13th-place finish, posting a 54-hole total of 2-under for the tournament. The sophomore recorded two rounds under par, including a 1-under round in the second and a 4-under performance in the final round, while tallying 13 birdies and an eagle across the event.
 
The Overland Park, Kan., native’s effort was part of a strong showing for St. Thomas, as the Tommies set a single-round program record at 10-under during Tuesday’s action.
