SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver junior Zander Grant was named this week’s Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week, League officials announced Thursday. Grant secured the weekly honor for the second time in his career and this season.

Grant earned his first career victory at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational, firing a 6-under 210 to secure the individual title. The junior carded rounds of 73, 66 and 71, highlighted by 13 birdies over the three rounds to earn his second weekly award in the last three weeks.
 
The Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., native’s performance also helped the Pioneers to a second-place team finish, leading Denver with steady scoring and strong play throughout the tournament.
