Men's Golf - August 31

South Dakota State’s Seeling cards 60 (-12) to match NCAA Round 

During the first tournament of the season, South Dakota State’s Tyler Seeling shot a 60 to match the NCAA single round record.

Women’s Soccer-September 14

Denver Women’s Soccer takes down (25) Colorado State

Denver closed out its nonconference schedule with a 2-1 victory over in-state rival No. 25 Colorado State.

Women’s Cross Country-September 22

Keeler named NCAA Division I Women’s National Athlete of the Week

North Dakota’s Jadyn Keeler was named the NCAA Division I Women’s National Athlete of the Week on Sept. 22 after capturing the 6,000-meter title at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 20:57.3. The Fighting Hawk senior became the first student-athlete in North Dakota's Division I history to win an individual title at a Power Four-hosted meet.

Men’s Soccer-October 7

Denver secures BIG WIN over (14) Georgetown 

Denver scored late to secure a 2-1 road win at No. 14 Georgetown. 

Women’s Cross Country -October 17

Keeler clocks the fastest 6k time in League history

North Dakota’s Jadyn Keeler clocked a 19:08.2 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational, smashing the Summit League women’s 6k record (20:06.8) to finish third.

Women’s Soccer -October 23

Oral Roberts earned a share of the fourth #SummitWSOC regular season title in program history

Oral Roberts captured a share of its fourth regular season title and first since 2004. The Golden Eagles were led by Offensive Player of the Year Julia Thasaphong, who became the program’s first recipient of the honor since 2016. Head coach Austin Risenhoover also earned Coach of the Year accolades after guiding ORU to a 6-1-1 league record, marking the first time since 2016 that a Golden Eagle coach claimed the award.

South Dakota State’s Cody Larson breaks #SummitXC Championship record in route to a team title

Senior Cody Larson led South Dakota State to its 10th consecutive Summit League men's cross country championship, breaking the Summit League Championship meet record with a winning time of 23:15.59. Larson was joined on the All-Summit League First Team by teammates Cashton Johnson and Dale Johnson as the Jackrabbits finished ahead of runner-up North Dakota. 

Women’s Cross Country-November 1

The Fighting Hawks win the #SummitXC title for the first time in program history

North Dakota claimed the Women’s Cross Country title for the first time in program history. Senior Jadyn Keeler was named Championship MVP after shattering the previous meet record by more than a minute with a winning 6k time of 19:21.08. Teammate Shewaye Johnson finished fourth and also finished under the previous meet record with a time of 20:25.43. Marie Louise Jorgensen joined Keeler and Johnson on the Summit League First Team with a fifth-place finish.

Volleyball-November 8

South Dakota’s Leanne Williamson is winningest coach in #SummitVB history 

South Dakota head coach Leanne Williamson became the winningest volleyball coach in Summit League history with a four-set victory over Kansas City on Nov. 8. The milestone win was her 249th career victory and 147th in Summit League play, breaking the conference records in both categories. Williamson added two more wins before season's end, finishing the campaign with 251 overall victories and 149 Summit League wins.

Jackrabbits capture third consecutive Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship title

SDSU captured its third consecutive Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship title becoming the first No. 3 seed to win the tournament in back-to-back seasons since the Jackrabbits themselves accomplished the feat in 2015 and 2016. 

Women’s Cross Country-November 14

Keeler punches ticket to NCAA Cross Country Championship

North Dakota’s Jadyn Keeler secured a spot at the NCAA Cross Country Championships with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, crossing the line in 19:53.7. Her finish marked the highest placement ever by a Fighting Hawk at the regional meet.

Two Summit League athletes qualify for the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships

Oral Roberts’ Abraham Chelangam and South Dakota State’s Cody Larson clinched two of the four individual at-large bids to the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships after strong performances at the Midwest Regionals. Chelangam became the first Golden Eagle to earn back-to back trips to NCAA Championships while Larson was the fourth Jackrabbit on the men’s side to earn a spot.

Denver wins #SummitMSOC Championship

Denver claimed its third tournament title in the last five seasons by defeating defending champion Kansas City, 4-2, in the championship match.

Men’s Soccer-November 20

Two #SummitMSOC teams earn postseason bids, win first-round matches

For the second consecutive season, the Summit League saw two teams record at least one NCAA Tournament victory, as both Denver and Kansas City secured first-round wins. Denver also extended its streak of NCAA Tournament victories to five straight seasons. 

Summit League men's soccer finished with the No. 5 RPI among all conferences in the country.

Women’s Cross Country-November 22

Keeler earns All-American status 

 At the NCAA Championships, Keeler continued to make history. She finished 26th overall in the women’s 6K with a time of 19:13.5, becoming the first Fighting Hawk in UND’s Division I era to earn USTFCCCA All-America honors in cross country. 

Volleyball-November 25

Tommies capture first #SummitVB title

St. Thomas is one-for-one. In their first Summit League Volleyball Championship appearance in program history, the third-seeded Tommies defeated top-seeded South Dakota State 3-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23) to capture the 2025 title.

Volleyball-November 30

Two #SummitVB teams qualified for the NCAA Tournament

For the third time in Summit League history, two programs qualified for the NCAA Tournament with St. Thomas and South Dakota State both earning postseason berths. The Tommies won their first Summit League Championship to earn the League's AQ, while the Jackrabbits had another tremendous season after going 16-0 in league play and 23-5 overall, to earn an at-large bid for the second season in a row. 

Volleyball-December 17

South Dakota State's Sylvie Zgonc collects AVCA All-America Honorable Mention accolades

South Dakota State junior Sylvie Zgonc has been named an All-America Honorable Mention selection as selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Zgonc, the Summit League Player of the Year, earns the honor for the second time in her career.
