SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Thomas’ Kathryn VanArragon and North Dakota State’s Carter White were tabbed the first #SummitGF Peak Golfers of the Week, League officials announced Thursday. White collected his first collegiate victory while VanArragon picked up her third career title.
VanArragon picked up her third individual title at the Bear Brawl in Greeley, Colo. after nearly leading wire-to-wire throughout the three-round event. She put together a three-round score of 209 to go four under par to collect a new personal-best score by four strokes while leading the Tommies to the team title.
This is VanArragon’s first weekly honor of the season and fourth overall after winning one in 2024-25 and two in 2023-24.
White picked up his first career victory at the America Needs Farmers Fall Classic in Riverside, Iowa this week, completing rounds of 73-65-69 for a 54-hole total of 207 to finish -9 overall. His 65 in round two was his career-low and fourth-lowest score in program history. White also carded eight birdies en route to his win. He also played the back nine in round three at three-under to seal the victory.
This is White’s first honor of the season and second overall after earning one in the 2025-26 season.
