SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota duo of Jadyn Keeler and Kenna Curry alongside Kansas City’s Tory Lanham and South Dakota’s Eerik Haamer were named Summit League Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Year, League officials unveiled Thursday. The award recipients were selected by a vote from the League’s head coaches and based on the student-athletes’ respective performances throughout the 2024-25 indoor season.
On the women’s side, Keeler, this year’s Women’s Indoor Track Championship MVP, became the second Fighting Hawk in League history to be named Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year while Curry won the Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Year honor for the second time in her career.
On the men’s side, Lanham became the first Roo since Anthony Boyer in 2009-10 to be named as the Indoor Track Athlete of the Year while Haamer was the second straight Coyote to capture Indoor Field Athlete of the Year honors.
North Dakota State’s Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Stevie Keller took home his league record ninth Women’s Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year award after guiding the Bison to their 16
th indoor title in the last 18 years.
South Dakota State’s Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Rod DeHaven earned his fourth Summit League Men’s Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year honor after helping the Jackrabbit men win their first indoor title since 2021-2022.
Jadyn Keeler, North Dakota
Junior | Barrie, Ontario, Canada
- Became the second Fighting Hawk to walk away with the Summit League Women’s Track Championship MVP award after totaling 30 points for UND
- Earned her first gold medal of the League indoor championships in the 3,000m after crossing the finish line in a time of 9:21.78
- Captured the gold medal at the League indoor championships in the mile with a time of 4:45.90
- Closed her triple crown performance with a time of 16:20.88 in the 5,000m for gold at the League indoor championships
- Owned the League’s top mile, 3,000m and 5,000m times of the indoor season
- Rewrote the UND record book during the indoor season and now owns the program’s top times in the 3,000m (9:17.58), mile (4:44.03), 5,000m (15:28.29)
- Became the fourth UND student-athlete to qualify for the national meet in North Dakota’s DI era
- Finished 10th at the national meet in the 5K, running a 15:31.63 to earn second team All-American accolades
Kenna Curry, North Dakota

- Became the first Fighting Hawk to be crowned the Women’s Field Championship MVP in back-to-back seasons after she earned 20 points during the Indoor Championship
- Won the weight throw title at the League Indoor Championship with a toss of 70-06.25” (21.49m)
- Took gold in the shot put at the League Indoor Championship after registering a mark of 50-03.75” (15.33m)
- Qualified for the national meet with a winning throw of 75-00.50” (22.87m) at the East Coast Invitational
- Is one of four UND student-athlete to qualify for the national meet in North Dakota’s DI era
- Finished 10th at the national meet with a toss of 71-5.50 (21.78m), earning second team All-American accolades
- Named Peak Performer of the Week four times during the indoor season
Tory Lanham, Kansas City
Sophomore | Kansas City, Mo.
- Named the Men’s Indoor Track Championship MVP after earning 20 points for KC at the Indoor Championship
- Clocked a 21.07 in the 200-meter dash to capture his first League Indoor title
- Placed second in the 60-meter dash at the League indoor championship with a time of 6.82
- Earned his third medal of the League Indoor Championship after running the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay and clocking a time of 3:13.19
- Ran a season best 20.93 in the 200-meter dash to win the Missouri Invitational and set the Kansas City 200-meter record
- Earned Peak Performer accolades three times during the indoor season
- Owned the League’s top 200-meter dash time of the indoor season
Eerik Haamer, South Dakota
Graduate | Tartu, Estonia
- Cleared a season best height of 18-3.75” (5.58m) to win the men’s pole vault competition at the SDSU Last Chance meet
- Finished fourth at the League Indoor Championship after clearing 16-9.25” (5.11)
- Placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship with a clearance of 18-2.75” (5.56m)
- Garnered second team All-America honors with his ninth-place finish
- Earned Peak Performer accolades two times during the indoor season
