SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 2026 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships are slated for May 14-16 at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex in Fargo, N.D. This year’s championships will be the fifth time in League history that the Bison have hosted the event.
The championships will begin on Thursday at 12 p.m. CT with the field events, 1 p.m. CT for multi events and 6 p.m. CT for track events.

Watch
All events will be streamed on the Summit League Network. Fans can
subscribe to watch coverage of every event for $9.99. A high follow from the midfield press box will be provided for track events while individual cameras will be dedicated to each non-track event. Broadcasters will be provided on the main feed who will cover a mix of all events while individual event streams will have one camera and ambient sound. Coverage of field events may be altered depending on schedule changes due to inclement weather.

- The North Dakota State women look to capture their 17th title in the last 18 years.
- The reigning outdoor champions, the Bison were picked to sit atop the League once again, holding an eight-point lead on South Dakota in the outdoor preseason coaches’ poll.
- According to the USTFCCCA, North Dakota State is headed into the championships ranked No. 11 in the Midwest while North Dakota sits at No. 13, St. Thomas sits at 16th, and South Dakota sits at 19th.
- There are three women ranked in the top 25 nationally in their respective events ahead of the championships: UND’s Jadyn Keeler (No. 14 – 5,000m, No. 6- 10,000), and USD’s Marleen Mülla (No. 4 – Pole vault), and Anna Willis (No. 2 pole vault).

RECORD WATCH
Olivia Keller-St. Thomas – Keller typically competes in the multi events for the Tommies, but this year she leads the league in three events: the 400m hurdles, long jump, and the 800m. The current 800m league record is a 2:05.48. Keller comes into the championship with a time of 2:06.54 and will not be competing in the Heptathlon. With fresher legs than normal, the Tommie senior needs to just cut a little over one second off of her lifetime best to notch her name in the Summit League record book. Keller enters the championship with a 400m hurdle time of 58.58. The current record of 57.70 was set by Jacy Pulse in 2024.
Jadyn Keeler-North Dakota-Keeler set the Summit League record in the 5,000-meter a year ago with a time of 16:09.70. The Fighting Hawk will have opportunity to break the 5,000 and 10,000-meter record at the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Keeler ran a season best 15:26.98 in the 5,000 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to rank 14
th in the NCAA. The Fighting Hawk senior ran a season best and NCAA top 10 time of 31:56.03 in the 10,000 meter at the Stanford Invitational. The Summit League Outdoor Championship record in the 10,000 is a 35:18.59 set by Amber Eichkorn of South Dakota in 2015.
4x400- Last year the Summit League Outdoor Championship saw four teams run faster than the previous meet record of 3:42.05. South Dakota finished the fastest with a new meet record of 3:38.43. St. Thomas has already recorded a season best 3:38.78 at the Drake Relays.
Marleen Mülla-South Dakota- Mülla will look to best her Summit League Outdoor Championship pole vault record of 15-0” set last year in 2025. Mülla vaulted a personal best 15-0.25” at the USD Twilight.
Anna Willis-South Dakota- Willis will look to best the Summit League Outdoor Championship pole vault record of 15-0.” set by Marleen Mülla of South Dakota in 2025. Willis vaulted a personal best 15-2.25” at the Drake Relays.
Arienne Birch-North Dakota State- Birch will look to best the Summit League Outdoor Championship high jump record of 6-1.25” set by Danii Anglin of South Dakota in 2023. Birch leaped a career best 6-1.25” at the UTSA Invitational a season ago.

Brandon Kampsen-South Dakota State: Kampsen looks to challenge the Summit League Outdoor Championship record in the 800 of 1:47.58 set by Jacob Rodin of North Dakota State in 2023. Kampsen’s best time this outdoor season is a 1:47.90
Ethan Moe-North Dakota State: Moe looks to challenge the Summit League Outdoor Championship record in the 800 of 1:47.58 set by Jacob Rodin of North Dakota State in 2023. Moe’s best time this outdoor season is 1:48.09. Moe will also be a threat to best the Summit League Outdoor Championship 1500 record that he set in 2024 running a 3:45.65. Moe ran a personal best time of 3:40.74 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Cody Larson-South Dakota State: Larson could have his eye on three separate Summit League Outdoor Championship records. Larson has already run faster than the Summit League Championship 1500 record when he posted his best time of the season at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running a 3:40.37. Larson also has the 5,000-meter record within his sights. The current record of 14:07.10 was set by Abraham Chelangam of Oral Roberts in 2025. Larson’s best time of the season came at the Stanford Invitational where he ran an 13:45.61. The 3,000-meter steeplechase record of 8:49.89 was set in 2023 by North Dakotas’ Luke Labatte. Larson has posted a career best time of 8:28.94.
Louis-Lys Fanucchi-North Dakota: Fanucchi will have a chance to take down three separate Summit League Outdoor Championship records. Fanucchi ran a season best 3:39.14 in the 1500 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to sit atop the league standings heading into the Outdoor Championship. The Current record is a 3:45.65 set by Ethan Moe in 2023. Fanucchi will also have a chance at the 5,000-meter record of 14:07.10 set a season ago by Abraham Chelangam. Fanucchi’s season best time in the 5,000 is a 13:47.01. Fanucchi ran a career best 8:42.15 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational. The Outdoor championship record is 8:49.89 ran by Luke Labette of North Dakota in 2023.
Will Lohr-South Dakota State:The Jackrabbit junior has already ran faster than two Summit League Outdoor championship records this season. Lohr looks to challenge the Summit League Outdoor Championship record in the 1500 of 3:45.65 set by Ethan Moe of North Dakota State in 2024. Lohr’s best time this outdoor season is a 3:45.64. Lohr has also ran faster than the 5,000 meter record of 14:07.10 set by Abraham Chelangam a season ago. Lohr’s best time this season is a 13:58.77
Abraham Chelangam-Oral Roberts: A season ago Chelangam set the 5,000 meter record and in 2024 he set the10,000-meter record at the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championship running a 14:07.10 and a 29:53.02 respectively. Chelangam has not run the 10,000 this season but ran a career best 13:36.76 in the 5,000 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to sit atop the league standings. Chelangam also won the 1500m last year with a time of 3:47.51. The Golden Eagle junior ran a season best time of 3:52.12 in the 1500 this year.
Artwell Magake: Magake is another candidate looking to break the 1500-meter record in a standout field. Magake ran a personal best time of 3:43.91 at the Arkansas Twilight,
Jack Rosner and Zach McGlynn: Neither Rosner or McGlynn competed in the decathlon heading into the outdoor championship, however, they are both entered in the event for the Summit League Outdoor Championship. The Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championship decathlon record of 7,699 points set by Darrin Steele of Eastern Illinois in 1992. Rosner has a career best total of 7661 points set at the Drake Relays in 2025. McGlynn has a career best total of 7697 points set at the Aztec Invitational in 2025.
Kansas City’s 4x100 and 4x400:The Roos will look to take down the 4x100 meter championship record of 39.94 ran by South Dakota in 2021 and the 4x400 meter championship record of 3:07.18 ran by North Dakota State in 2022. The Roos have run a season best 39.59 in the 4x100 and 3:07.92 in the 4x400 relay.
