SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Reigning Summit League men’s tennis regular season champion, Denver, was picked to claim the 2025 regular season title in the preseason coaches’ poll released Wednesday by League officials.
The nine-time regular season champion Pioneers claimed the top spot of the standings with 25 total points and five of six first-place votes. North Dakota was selected to finish runner-up after capturing 21 total points and the remaining first-place vote.
Omaha edged Illinois State for the third-place spot in the poll after capturing 15 total votes compared to Illinois State’s 14 total points. Last year’s runner-up, Drake, was picked to finish fifth with 10 points while Oral Roberts rounded out the poll in sixth with five points.

- Was 4-7 at the No. 2 spot and 3-3 at the top spot in the singles lineup
- Finished with an 11-9 overall doubles record with a 9-9 record at the No. 1 position

- Compiled a 5-2 record overall and a 2-0 record in Summit League action
- Put together a 4-1 record at the No. 6 position for the Bulldogs
- Posted a 4-3 overall doubles record and a 3-1 mark at the No. 2 spot
